The Real Ghostbusters Sticker Album
There were two sticker albums I had as a child, the Beano and the Real Ghostbusters. If you’ve bought a pack of stickers recently, I hope you are as upset as I am at the £2 price point! I would rely on my local newsagent for packs of stickers, each charged at 20 pence. Golden times, I know.
It was the Beano album that was nearly completed but if I’m honest, the Real Ghostbusters was my favourite. Thankfully, my brother in law completed his album and donated it to me recently. I genuinely squeaked with joy when I received it..
The Real Ghostbusters was an amazing cartoon. Dark, funny and capturing the essence of the Ghostbusters film – I watched it religiously. Panini did an amazing job making the album and owning it now is still a rush. I cannot get over how pretty the foil stickers are. I did try to trade stickers in the playground but alas, most of my friends did football albums instead. Did you ever send off for stickers from the mailing address, let me know how you got on!
Anyway, you aren’t here for me chattering on. Enjoy the completed annual below!
There are plenty of these complete and incomplete on eBay here.
