Crimson Urchin Media

Who Takes the Socks Off is proud to announce that they are now partnering with a media agency to provide advert swaps with other clients of theirs.
Some details about Crimson Urchin Media:
Born out of a failed art installation, a lot of inherited business cards and three too many energy drinks, C.U.M. was founded in 2011 by three marketing school dropouts who met in a Reddit thread arguing about fonts.
Their mission?
To “obliterate the mundane” – starting with their clients’ reputations, if necessary.
Their debut campaign was for a vegan lube company.
It featured skywriting from the back of an attack helicopter and interpretive dance performed by the children of Wessex County under 10s Wiffle ball team.
It made zero sense, went viral by accident, and launched them into infamy.
They’ve since worked with underground soda brands, post-apocalyptic fashion start-ups, a failed haunted water park, a vegan steakhouse, and a motivational speaker who only speaks in riddles.
Since then, their entire strategy has revolved around “chaotic placement” and “relatable discombobulation.”
In a statement about the partnership, founders and joint Managing Directors; Penny Pushmore and Martin “Buzz” McDrag said:
“We’re totally thrilled to be working with those great guys over at Who Puts the Socks On the Feet podcast. We love all their work and know this partnership will bring great things to everyone involved in the partnership together”
Aside from Pushmore and Drag, the agency staff includes Flo the psychic intern, a sentient coffee machine named Dave, and a copywriter who only speaks in puns.
Their brainstorming sessions are intense and innovative, featuring strobe lights, live ferrets, and a whiteboard labelled “WORDS THAT SLAP.”
The agency’s motto is: “We don’t sell your product. We start a cult around it.”
They will be featuring Who Takes the Socks Off in their client’s audio campaigns and in turn WTSO will feature targeted adverts in their midroll on the podcast episodes.
To contact Urchin please use your nearest Ouija board, and the intern will come back to you.
